In the field of education, how can a teacher differentiate "effectiveness" from "efficiency" of his/her teaching?

In my own opinion efficiency is in terms of the methods of teaching, and effectiveness is more of the result of that method. One teacher could be efficient but not effective. But won't be effective without being efficient. For example, a teacher could be efficient because he/she has mastery of that subject. But he/she will only be effective if the students are able to learn from that subject depending on how that subject is delivered.

I am made to understand that effectiveness is more on the use of methodologies and approaches whereas efficiency is on the manner the teacher executes and administers worthwhile activities in the course of the learning-teaching session. Thus, effectiveness for human resources and efficiency for non-human resources. Please verify with me if I am wrong.
