It really was a fantastic goal by Rooney. It was a goal worth winning any match leave alone a derby. I think today Rooney was the Man of the match as his contribution in the first goal was also fantastic. Man City had a very good second half, but their defensive setup in the first half was really what let them down. I would have liked Mancini to go for it in the first half itself, but then he likes to play defensive against bigger teams and that is what cost them today.
Cheers!

It was a fantastic goal and a worthy winner. It looked like it was going to be a draw after man citys flukey equaliser.

I think this is the best scissor kick which I have seen lately. The ball was perfectly struck and gave no chance to City keeper to save it. I haven't seen the game, only a few minutes and then Rooney scored this goal. I don't know how the game was, but judging from the score, it was certainly a close game.

A great goal from Rooney no doubt. The derby today was a pretty good match. The win today brought United much closer to the title, and United showed that they still are better than City, but the matches are closer and closer. It wouldn't surprise me if City beat United next year, because they had the chances today.
