One of the most annoying obstacles in my life is suffering from sinus, whereby every single morning and night. When its time for bed, I would have a hard time falling asleep because I cannot breathe properly through my nose, and breathing through my mouth would become uncomfortable when my mouth dries up so I have to doze off when I get really tired, but still end up breathing through my mouth I supposed since I wake up having a dried up mouth. This caused me to feel really grouchy in the morning, and that I have not enough sleep nor a good rest at all.. :s During the morning, I would still have both of my nostrils blocked, therefore I can only breathe through my mouth, and by doing so my mouth gets dry really quickly, Indirectly causing me to have a sore-throat for practically my whole life. Strangely, the problem would subside somethings during the later part of the day, and comes back to haunt me at night. It would be good to have someone here knowledgeable enough to tell me whats going on and if there is any solution to it, since pills from the doctors only helps temporary.. Also, feel free to share with me the obstacles in your life.

I cured a persistent sinus problem by temporarily cutting gluten and caffeine out of my diet. I rarely suffer now, but if I feel my sinuses beginning to get problematic I change my diet again for a short while. It's just occasionally when I get a cold that I need to do it. It might be worth trying for you if you don't like the pills the doctor prescribes. I don't get on very well with antibiotics, so I found a change of diet suits me better.

ahh i see, I have been consuming diary products for about my whole lifetime xD it's really important to me for my growth as well. I hope it isn't the main cause of it or else I'll be really in a fix :s thank you anyway for letting me know! perhaps I might get to breathe fresh cool air some time soon..

Hello greenmoo, I have tried the doctor pills, it never really work much for me, the most it could do was allowing me to breathe through one nostril and the other feels like a blocked cave. I don't consume gluten and caffeine but yet I am still having this trouble.. hmm I'm not sure what kind of consumables I am supposed to take in order to get rid of this problem permanently.

A problem will become smaller if you don't avoid it but confront it.
To me obstacles is a challenge in life, without them, life is also too meaningless.
By overcoming your obstacles, you can actually become a stronger person and also may help other people in life you met.Life are like roller coaster, which sometime up sometime goes down. Obstacles plays a big part in life, without it life can be too care free and no people would bother to care one another if one in need help.

I agree on the statement where you say that without challenge in life, life could be meaningless. However, I feel that not all kinds of obstacles such as my sinus problems would make life interesting for me xD I understand that they help to make us stronger mentally and physically. I really hope that one day I will be able to overcome this obstacle ( sinus) and get rid of it for life!

I don't have health problems. But I consider two things as obstacles in my life. 1. I am a sri lankan living in germany. Germany is a non english speaking country. So I haqd to spend all my time to learn this language like a small girl. that was so frustrating. I could not find a job here suitable to my education levelbecause of this language problem.
2. My hubby comes home from work in the midnight. He wants me to serve his dinner for him. so my sleeps disturbed. So at day time I feel like sleeping. I like to have a life in which I can go to bed at 9 o'clock evening. (But for this small reason I have no idea of getting separated from my loving hubby)

Hello johnpillai, I understand the troubles you have been going through, I think some sacrifice is needed for both parties to maintain a healthy relationship. I guess serving him dinner could be a little token of appreciation and affect for him since he worked so hard till late at night, serving him dinner will probably make him feel a lot better. Who knows he might have some problems at work, but because of your dinner he could actually overcome them because he know he still have a loving wife always there to stand by him anytime. (: I think these obstacles could be solved through time and patience, I feel that you definitely be able to overcome them! all the best! cheers

I like to think of them as challenges rather than obstacles. To truly know how good things feel you have to go through the bad things. Things like this are truly there for you to just accept and change, rather than beat the drum of how difficult they make your life. Allowing your body to be peaceful is entirely in your mind. Just let your attention fall on how great it feels to have a clean and healthy nose, and keep that focus all the time and soon the dream will become the reality.

I am not sure if my health is considered as a challenge, I think challenges are suited more to the things that are related to work, relationships, studies, physical and mental work outs etc.. I've been dreaming to breathe like a normal person for my whole life, I hope one day I'll be able to find out what fresh air is like. I am in search of a cure for this, I tried to think positive, hoping that it works, but it hasn't though.. :(
