No, I'm not talking about earnings here. It is a violation of Mylot rules, remember? What I am talking exactly are the price for certain food. http://notecook.com/desserts/ice-cream/worlds-most-expensive-sweets/ Who on earth will spend that much in order to indulge in such very ,very, expensive food. When others do not even have a morsel on their table, others would dare to spend such amount of money just to have a taste of these food. Are you crazy enough to waste your money on them?

Hi, Saphy. Happy heart's day to you, my dear. Neither do I, my dear. My orientation is not to spend on food lavishly. But if it is for free, why not?. It'll be a great experience to have a mouthful of those chocolates or even a scoop of the ice cream. They look too good to eat, though.:)

Why, dear? Don't you love ice cream or chocolates? You are one of a kind, then, Saphy.

Hi Eureka! This kind of highly expensive food is for those, who are ultra rich and can afford to spend lavishly. It is certainly not for you and I, who belong to 'middle' income group. I will never spend such a huge amount of money on expensive food stuff to satiate myself. Simple and affordable food is better and we make do with that. Warm Hugs! PS - did u check yr mail?

So we both think on the same lines. It is nice to hear that even if you have lots of money, you will not indulge in wasteful expenditure. Tempting for good chocolates could not be termed as a expensive temptation., many of us are fond of good quality chocolates. It is indeed great on your part to think about feeding hungry mouths, even it is hypothetical, I would say it is a very noble thought on your part.

Yes, dear. Who could or would resist a mouth watering chocolate. everyone has his own weakness , I guess, even when it comes to food, and this one is very much my weakness. But, the thought of hungry people while munching on the heavenly tasting sweet will surely make me choke.

Hi, dear. Even if I have lots of money to spend, I will not even think of really indulging myself to such food. Maybe, it is so easy for me to say this because I don't have that money to spare. But, honestly, my heart doesn't belong to expensive lifestyle. Though, the chocolate is sinfully tempting but a one time experience would be good enough. I'd rather feed a lot of hungry mouths with a decent meal than enjoying myself with one heavenly expensive food. But again, it is so easy to say because I don't have that money to spend.LOL

I am with you on this, what a waste. and to think of the people begging for bread. No I am pretty frugal. I like to buy day old, clearance rack and grow what ever I can. however, I wouldnt be adverse to somebody paying that for something I made

Hi, Laglen. It is so nice to see you here. Happy heart's day, dear. Anyways, as for this discussion, we all have a choice to make. some of us might think that it is a waste of money but to some they are just enjoying the privilege of getting what they want whenever it s available for grabs. I'll better stay frugal than, waste my money in this food. But, I will not refuse if it will be offered to me for free.

Imagine how many hungry mouths could be fed with that 1.65 million. But then it'shard earned money (i presume) so the owner could dispose of it any way he would. It's really an eye opener about how far the disparity is when it comes to wealth. If I am that rich and i have all the money in the world, maybe I'll try to taste the most expensive food there is. It's not greed, i would consider it more of a reward.

I'd consider it as a privilege. Yes, Ybong, I do agree. The disparity is so obvious . And no matter how those filthy rich people acquired their fortunes, still, they invested so much on it, thus, they are only worthy or savoring the fruits if their labor. Enjoying this sinful privileges. I must admit, I will also try to taste that chocolate if I have tons of money to spend. Seems like it tastes heavenly enough... Sigh... only a wishful thinking.

Wow... I'd like to try it, and I'm going to be lying if I said I would never try it if it was offered to me for FREE. But I WOULD NEVER pay for such expensive food. That's juts too much, I'd rather buy me a new car or house! I could even start a small business with these prices! They must taste heavenly to warrant such amounts, and it should come with a license to smack the chef's head if they don't taste good!

Hey, who could or would resist such tempting sweets. They look really good too eat, aren't they? And yes, I must also admit that if it is offered to me for free then, why not? But , personally, I will not spend a fortune on those food. Even if I already have my ow n car and house, still, I will not indulge. I'd rather feed a thousands of hungry mouth with all the money I'd spend for those food. But, maybe, if I have really a billion dollars on my account, it is possible that I am already helping others so, a treat like this will not hurt and choke me.

I find this crazy. I dont think I would ever spend that much on food. But think about it, if you were a multi-billionaire then you might actually spend that much just because you have too much money to know what to do with.
• Philippines
15 Feb 11
Yup, perhaps you are right. When you have a multi billion dollars in your account, those figures are just dust and maybe, spending for it wouldn't hurt that much. And maybe, you have your own organization to help those who are in great need of help. Maybe, you are already a philanthropist, helping all sorts of hopeless souls all over he world. So, eating such food is no longer a sin and guilt but can be a reward for all those good things you already have done, ei.

I think here is where some people's misguided sense of importance is. That they celebrate things like these. People write about it, and others are excited seeing such things. While in the background are literally millions of people with nothing so much as a clean supply of water. Some people's head need a good shaking.

Looks interesting. Of course - people are mad enough to spend such an amount to have such food or ice-creams or chocolates. However, I am not so craZy to spend that lot money for such things and if I have such an amount of money I can feed 1000s of hungry man world-wide. These all are really meant for those who doesn't know the value of money and the value of people who do hard-work. Such people who buy and eat such things are not eating these items form their hard work and they really enjoy life in the name of somebody else's efforts. Thank-s

Hi, Thanks. These people who ae indulging in such expensive food do not know what poverty is.That is what I am so sure of. THey have no idea what is it like outside their comforts zones. And if ever, they have an inkling I doubt if they really do care. Yes, you are right, thousands of hungry mouth can already be fed by just one of those food mentioned. Imagine, a lot of people feeding on a decent meal compared to a socialite hardly tasting his/her food and pays a fortune? Even if they work hard for their fortune, I don't think it is human enough to always succumb to such sinful sweets. But, to have a taste of it once in your lifetime is I think fair enough. But not that $1.65 M cake. It is a totally insane thing to do.

Hello my friend! I will definitely not waste my money for it! Even if I have the money,I guess I will still not spend for it,lol! There are many things that are far more important to spend the money with. The fact that there are many people starving from food,I guess I would just give the money to those needy who doesn't have any food to eat rather than spend it in those expensive food! See yah friend! Nice to see you again!

Hello, my dear friend. Happy heart's day. It has been awhile.:) Anyways, it is easy for us perhaps to say this because we are very much aware of the sad plight of our other fellowmen. But those who are just sitting in their airconditioned rooms and cars, served by helpers and the boss of multi corporations, they maybe oblivious to the fact and realities of the world outside their comfort zone. Perhaps, they might be thinking that why would they even care? I'm glad to hear and share the same sentiments with you, MTR. I hope, there are really people who are spending a fortune just to get a taste of those food. Well, it is their privilege , perhaps. We can not blame them on how they are going to spend their fortune.
