hello lokahiou, I think there are a few ways to pass valentines day without spending too much money. You could start the day by serving your beloved some home-cooked food if you're good at cooking, otherwise you can bring her to a reasonable pricing restaurant to dine. After which you could either bring that person to place where you both had your first time out together or something. you should also do something special for your beloved, like creating a dozen of mini notes in which each expresses your affection for him/her. it won't cost much, doing something special does not need to be big and grand, its the thought that counts i believe.

I'm assuming you mean on a date. Making dinner for the person and then watching a video you know they like is a cost-effective, if predictable, way to spend an evening. You might consider doing an activity they really enjoy. Romance is more about doing something for someone that you know will make they smile rather than doing something big and flashy. Most people are touched by sincerity which is in short supply recently.
