Well the watch is so designed that one should wear it on left hand rather than the right. You would notice that the knob to change the time and date and to wind it, if it is not automatic is positioned on the right side of the watch. Most of the people are right handed and they can easily do it with right hand. Even if the person is left handed it would not be easy for him to do all these tasks. Besides right hand being the dominant hand for most of us, we do most of our work with right hand. You might damage the watch while hammering the nail on the wall, or even while shaking someone's hand enthusiastically and vigorously.

It is simple dear snm! Since most of the people are right handed and they use their right hand for various purposes, it becomes easier if the watch is worn on left wrist as it won't act as a hindrance in the physical work and while doing the work without getting interrupted one can have a look at the watch to note the time! Have you recall the way we used to have a look at our wrist watches without getting disturbed at the time of answering an examination.Here we normally keep on writing while having a glimpse of the watch to note down the time! I also don't get it. I am a righter wearer and so is actually the whole family. I think its and outdated trend from a time where you hand to rewind your watch.

yes we need to know what time it could be DST or am/pm without wrist watch you couldn't tell the time whether am/ pm and you won't be late for work or an appointment
