I am wondering if anyone can give me any ideas of their best custom gaming rig PC since i am in search and wants to assemble and customize my own gaming rig PC. I don't want to mess up when i assemble my custom gaming rig PC. Can anyone advice me for the best hardwares from cpu (amd & intel), motherboards, HDD, memory, psu, graphics card, cpu coolers and stuff. I appreciate any responses and advices to my discussion.

There's not a lot between AMD and Intel, but go for a 4-core processor, at least 4 GB of DDR3 RAM, a 64-bit system and the fastest graphics card that you can afford. Decide on your processor first, everything else will follow on from that - motherboard and so on. To get an idea of what you'll need though I'd suggest doing some research and look at the specifications of off the shelf gaming machines.

Thanks for the advice mate. Is a six core processor of AMD better like the phenom x6 black edition for gaming? Is it better to partner the ATI Radeon graphics card or the NVIDIA? I am really bothered by the trending of it. Thanks in advance mate!

Phenom x6? When I had my new computer built about a year ago the Phenom x4 was the top AMD processor. Things move on so fast! I would have thought that the x6 will be better because the more cores, the more data the processor can work with. I've really not got a clue about the best graphics card to use because things change so fast and I don't keep myself informed about the latest developments. Do your research and pick the best graphics card that your board will support and as I said before, a good way of researching is to study the specification of off the shelf gaming machines. Blogs and forums devoted to gaming will also give good information.
