I really hope to travel around the world before my life ends. Hopefully able to get to world's 7 wonders too. I'm 21 years old this year. But to me,I think is kinda difficult dream to fulfill, since working for money takes up a big part of time in life and you will never know what's happen next which stops you to go forward of your life. Is there anyone out there has anything to about this to share about? I'm really keen to hear all your experiences. And also I can get a good head start from your experience.

That's my dream too. Very hard for us poor. Yes, Money talks, walks, travels, rules, etc. All is about money. If you dont have money then earn for it. We maybe travel the world in our dreams...only. Good luck to you and continue for it.

My dream is not to travel around the whole world. My dream is just to travel and experience new things. Just for a week or something. I love to stay at a hotel for 7 days with a pool and 100 metres from a beach, and then some of the days I can see some of the speciel things about the country.
Example: I was in Egypt some years ago. It was an amazing experience. I were around the pool most of the time, but one day I was in the dessert, where I saw camels. I was also visiting the pyramids, which also was an great experience I'll never forget.

I love traveling too. In these days of cheapish and cheerful jet travel, more and more people can now travel anywhere. We have a popular budget airline operating in our country and they sometimes have promotional airfares which are dirt cheap like few dollars to their selected destination. My last vacation was in Australia last year. I've been to places like Hong Kong, Philipines, Macau, Australia, singapore, Brunei and hope to do more traveling this year to places like Thailand, Singapore and Vietnam.

I can say Singapore is the cleanest country I've seen. I like shopping there too but unfortunately it was only a day trip as I was then staying with a friend in Johore and did not see much of the place. I will definitely return to visit Singapore again. Well, I really hate going for long hours of flight. But I might need to plan out well so I can stay in one place for a day or two and continue the journey should I decide to go to US or England or Germany. I have relatives in these places so my accommodation is taken care of.

There are a lot of cheap travel tours nowadays. I get to travel around the world and specially here in my country, Philippines, by waiting for those travel fairs, and travel sales. I hope you will be able to save enough to start your journey to your dream. I say atleast plan one trip per year or maybe every other year so you'll be able to accomplish your dream, and maybe even more.

Last 2 years, i went to thailand with my friends. And that's is the furthest country i ever travelled. Lol. I didn't travel last year as i don't have much money to go. i personally prefer to travel alone as i don't need to go with the flow with my friend. And i can go any places i like anytime. Coz i got a bad experience travelling with friends ever since the Thailand trip.

Ohhh. I guess you still have to find that perfect travel buddy with you. I have some bad experiences travelling with some friends, but I have found my travel buddy (my boyfriend!) who doesn't have any qualms about doing everything and anything, and enjoying the place while we're there. I hope you do find your perfect travel buddy soon.

I share your dream I want to travel across the world although in reality as you say the money factor kicks in which makes achieving such a feat difficult. One way I've considered doing such a thing though is just turning up to the airport and ask for the cheapest seat to any where then just go with the flow after a number of weeks move on to the next airport it would be crazy but I think it would certainly be fun.

Your idea about the airport thing is pretty consideration. But as we know, we can only take leaves from work for only a few days or maybe 2 weeks. I think the best time to do this, is when retirement comes in. As we got the money and time. But by then health also comes in consideration. And I think that I will probably don't have the energy to enjoy it. lol.
Anyway flight attendant comes to my mind when i seen your comments. What you think?

You could take some time off I'm sure there'd be a way of getting around such a thing as work as long as you have the money to carry out the travelling. I'd not travel around the world when I'm retired as you say our energy levels won't be as good so travelling would be such a strain. Flight attendant would be an excellent way of travelling depending on how often you worked you could end up somewhere then have to leave the next day which would leave me feeling my travels are unfulfilled.

Yes as you say flight attendant don't really may have no time to enjoy the travels as it is a job. Only thing that is good about it, you are travelling free. I believe anything that is free may have a advantageous. As well good luck on your life and we may met up one day as we never know. lol. Cheers!

It is not too late to do something at your age. I started going out of my country at almost the same as you, at 23. If you really want it, you can find a way to achieve it. Like me, my dream is to travel the world also. Before I die, I wish I could have visited at least 125 countries and I also wish I have stepped on at least 3,500 islands out of the 7,107 islands here in our country. It is quite too many at this stage but I know I can... Got to focus. One place at a time...
Seven Wonders?!!! Wow! That is my goal also. I am a fan of the seven wonders may it be the new or the old ones. I wish I can go to all of them. Luckily, I was able to go to 2 of them last year. One is the Great Wall and the other one was Angkor Wat (a previous Seven Wonder). I had so much fun when we visited those 2 places. That made me think that I can do this. I can complete the Seven Wonders before I day. And you can too...

Thanks for sharing your experience. What a great dream of yours. I had just went to check on Angkor Wat on website, it is truly a nice place to explore and it also gives me an ancient or cultural like feel. I will drop down that place as 1 of the places i wanted to visit in future. Good luck to you. Cheers!

Travel is my top hobby and I have visited more than fifty countries in the world so far in my lifetime. I traveled around the world when I was 20 years old. On my fantastic trip I visited California, Hawaii, Fiji, Australia, Indonesia, Singapore and Malaysia. I spent just over one year on that wonderful trip. To afford my trip I let out my cottage and got a working holiday visa for Australia so I was able to work there. I have recently come home from my latest trip and that was to Colombia. Good luck with your dream to travel around the world.
