Just an idea...

A lot of newbies (and even some old hands) here in MyLot keep on posting their ref links whenever someone asks for sites that they can join to earn money from. Admittedly, some of the sites that they post are actually legit and paying sites but I think everyone should try to curb that practice of posting their ref links. So, here's an idea: If you're interested with the site they're referring you to, why not remove their ref link when you sign up with that site? Or try to look for another MyLotter who also mentioned the site but didn't post his/her ref link and sign up under that person instead by going to his/her profile. What do you think?

Hello yallit,
Your idea is not new. We are not supposed to post referral links at all. The responses and comments that have referral links will be deleted by admin.
But we can post the names of the sites if we really want to help the discussion starter.
We can also send him/her the link through a private message.

I know that we're not supposed to post referral links but a lot of people are still doing it because posting ref links here and there still works for some. And we all know it takes time for a comment or even a whole discussion to be deleted. By the time that it gets deleted, the person who posted his ref link has already gathered referrals.
The main purpose of this topic is to alert those who love to post their ref links that MyLotters will just simply remove or change the sponsor's name when a prospective referral signs up.

I agree. Why join a site just because someone tells you about it? Why not join a site under someone you like, someone you trust, and someone who cares enough to have a conversation with you rather than constantly try to sell you stuff.
We don't all have money; in fact, most of us are trying to earn money, not buy stuff! Posting a referral link is just like trying to sell someone something for your own personal gain or benefit. Why be greedy? Why would you trust random direct referrals anyway? Why not get genuine direct referrals who follow you and trust you more? They are more likely to be active.
Thank you yallit for another huge insight. I love the information you post on myLot!

Absolutely. I pay attention to the people who do business right, and I am not afraid to take sides with the people I like ;)

I think almost all of MyLot members has their other online earning links. Just put all of your links in your profile and I'm sure other members will browse your profile and they will able to see your links. I always browse my friends profile to see their other earning online sites.

I think everyone will suffer if they start seeing discussion with full of reference links. Maybe they should keep the reference links to their blogs. Just make a mention of the site, and if others are interested, to go visit their blogs.
Let's keep myLot a clean environment. Otherwise, it might encourage an exodus.

Why should I do that? Is there anything happens to my earnings if I will do that?
