Me and my friends have been planning to visit Singapore in the summer. Can you recommend any interesting places to visit or see? They say, one can see the whole city in one day, any specific suggestions?

What would be interesting to visit (I'm talking about museums, exhibitions, parks, etc.) so that you will still have plenty to see just admiring the scenery, do not get tired to admire the wonders there:
- Labrador Park - bunkers of the 2nd World War, when Japan occupied Singapore, then an English colony. Japan was allied with Germany and Italy, and England with the U.S. and France. "Devel-employment" was made following the 1945 bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and in Labrador Park can admire some interesting relics of that period.
- Park Orchids - Orchid Singapore is the official flower, is absolutely gorgeous!
- Bambu-Boat Ride on the Singapore River (the famous Clark Quay, all the resonant UK)
- Chinatown - it's very clean, neat and trim, incredible.
Worth made a trip to Sentosa ISLAND,where every night is a sound and light show.
Absolutely gorgeous! Enjoy your trip!

thanks for the suggestions. We will try to consider this as well since as of the moment we don't really have an itinerary yet.

me and my friends plan to stay for about 3-4 days. I think that would be enough :D And also we are going on a budget trip. So we need to sort out our itinerary very well. Also, we are planning on a side trip to Malaysia.

They are right. You can see the whole city in one day. But you cannot see all the attractions in one day. You can start your tour with a Hippo Tour or Duck Tour. This is a bus or an amphibious vehicle that goes around the city and stops at the famous landmarks of the city. There is a guide who will tell something about that landmark and if you want to go down for some photo shoot, you may do so and just wait for the next bus to arrive. Pretty convenient and quite cheap for the tourist to avail. It covers basically all the landmarks of the city, the Singapore Eye, Esplanade, Merlion, Orchard Road, Clark Quay and many more. But if you want to go to Sentosa, that would cost you more. Then we go the attractions. The first and the newest on our list is Universal Studios in Sentosa Island. You may also visit the other attractions at the Island while at it. There is the Luge, Cable Car Ride, Song of the Sea, and the Water Park. There is the Jurong Bird park, Singapore Zoo and the Night Safari for the animal lovers. I think that would be enough to fill your visit to Singapore.
