In the midst of my hectic life, I still find time to pray.
In order to be able to pray, I wake up early. I set my alarm clock to wake up early . I do it while my husband sleeps and the surrounding seem so calm. I first did the waking up every morning with the aid of an alarm clock.
But after a week, I wake up before my alarm rings. I was thinking maybe God awakened me?

Great! I love praying in the early hours of the morning. Everything is so quiet and you can just meditate on the things you are pouring out to God. I experienced that last week, too. I'd wake even before the alarm goes off, so then, I had more time to pray. Sadly, I was not able to wake up early today, so I just had a quick good morning prayer.

Yes, sort of. It's the fact that we pray too quickly that there's no more time to meditate. And, because we're in a rush, we don't feel that much peace. That is probably why as you say, it seems that He is far.

For me , i noticed that if i didn't wake up that early to pray, and do it just quickly , it seems that He is also so far . Did you experience that too?

SIMPLYD,
Although, I must admit like you that praying in the mornings to be the best time, I have to add that besides just praying in the morning, you can always pray at any moment of the day for God is never too busy to hear our prayers.
Also, recalling Matthew 18:19-20 where it says: "Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them." - I wonder if you could get your husband to join you to pray together. It has worked with my family wondrously which is the reason why I am encouraging you to do so.
Take care and have a great day.

I have been trying to do that myself, but it just happens that he sleeps later than me because he reports to work later than me also.
But sometimes, when he is so tired he would say goodnight to me and i would just hold his hand and we pray silently for some few minutes together though. To me, that's a step to someday lead him to pray with me.

I don't think so. God is far more busy to wake you up in the morning. He has to listen to millions to billions of prayer in the morning and at night, or even the afternoon right? Anyway, it is good thing to keep a good faith though. Although I am not a religious person, I would hope your prayer come true.
