Whether it's switching to public transport instead of driving, installing energy efficient light bulbs, using the clothes line instead of the dryer or buying carbon off-sets, there are a lot of things we can do in our everyday lives to reduce our carbon footprint. What efforts do you make to be 'green'?

In a way, I have.
This year I switched jobs. Currently, I work 2-minutes (driving) away from home. Where it used to take me 45 minutes to work, now I could literally be there in minutes. And then last summer, I bought a bike so I would have a different means to get to work.
Unconsciously, I think I've reduced my carbon footprint.

I have been using public transport all my life since I don't have any type of vehicle except for an old bicycle and I walk a lot. I have worked very near my home. Then I hand wash my clothes and let it dry under the sun since we don't have a washing machine and there is the sun almost everyday except of course when it rains.
Then I help plant some vegetables in the garden and trees too when ever I can.
I see to it that I reuse some plastic shopping bags until they don't look nice anymore and I bring my own whenever I go to the wet market.
Doesn't really need much effort in helping save the planet earth.
