many people loves to sing and we cant deny that, but im just curious how it feels when someone loves music so much but the music just dont like them... i often bump onto this student in our school, today she sings rock, tomorrow she sings mellow, the next day R&B, and then pop. basically she sings almost every genre of song but none of those would just fit her voice. i dont know her, she's just a schoolmate, but every time i'll see her i get so annoyed!!! i cant explain how she sounds! lol!! well i dont want to be mean or anything, im just sharing my thoughts, and curiosity how someone like her might possibly feel... and does she even know she dont sound good??

It's just like love to play guitar but the guitar doest love you. hehehe!!!
i have heard just like that situation. I have a cousin who really loves to sing, but so annoying to listen. when the notes went to east, her voice went to south, and she's not aware of it. Still believing that she has a great voice.. OMG..

Hi. tammy27. Welcome to myLot! I know what you mean. If someone could really, I mean really hear themselves, they would feel ashamed. It is so bad when they don't even know that they sound wacky. It is just a shame. It would be nice if she could listen to herself. She will see that she sounds terrible!

LOL! That person might be deaf or something. I love music too and i love to sing all the time but i am not that loud in public since i know not all people can appreciate my voice uhurm, uhurm! I used to believe that i have a good singing voice but i later on realize that i sucked when one of my student told me that i am out of tune hahaha!
Reality bites and it sucks but i have to admit it. However when i am alone in the car with my husband and on i would sing at the top of my lungs. They don't complain about that or else i would kick them out hahaha!

Yeah who hasn't experienced being around someone that just has no tone whatsoever. They totally believe that what their singing is beautiful and that everyone should just cheer them on. It does seem to be girls that do this, just singing away at anything they can to get attention or something. I personally just tell them that it sounds weird or just give them that awkward look.

That's the kind of people who do not care what other people think. they just do their thing. But here in the Philippines, we are a culture of music lovers so we don't blame others who do not have the talent but sang anyways. I believe they are the brave ones. And people like that are prone to criticism. but they don't care, at least they are happy.

Well she's clearly tone deaf. And it seems like she's tone deaf to her own voice. Lol. I understand what you mean, really. I have a friend who loves singing in karaoke bars and videoke. Not once was he able to sing in the right tune. I studied piano lessons for 10 years. So basically Im familiar with every note, and every key. I know when a note is in sharp or flat. So when this friend of mine sings, he's really off key. Always! It's annoying to hear him sing. Because he thinks he's in tune and he sings with feelings. Unlike my other friends who admit they cant sing but they still do just for the fun of it. This certain friend of mine, he thinks he's a good singer when in fact, he annoys the crap out of me. But I never had the heart to tell him. Maybe because I dont want to offend him or hurt his feelings. So whenever it's his turn on the mic. I just do something else like play my iphone. That way, I get a little distracted and don't have to listen to his song with full attention.
