Willing willie Jackpot last Friday...

Hoping to get decent opinions on this. Have you seen Willing willie last Friday? Well, the contestant won the jackpot in WW's last game(don't know the title sorry). What intrigued me was the fact that for some reason, Willie Revillame the host seems to know where the jackpot is. For those who don't know, the contestant spins a roulette in this game and this roulette contains eleven no jackpot slots and one jackpot slot, total of twelve slots. Before the contestant spins the roulette the jackpot slot is shown and all the "no jackpot" slots are covered. Willie covers the jackpot slot then the contestant spins it. Unless one has a very sharp eye in following where the jackpot would go after the roulette stops spinning then it is impossible for a person to know where the jackpot is. If you could see where I'm going with this, it would basically mean that Willie has a sharp eye OR they are able to cheat and control whether they would give the jackpot or not. Willie was hesitant to open the slot and reveal whether it was a jackpot or not when the contestant chose not to get what the covered slot would reveal. I totally enjoy this game and it is highly entertaining, but I just couldn't help but wonder if Willie's game is trying to cheat. Yes it was indeed good that the contestant won the jackpot but I am just wondering about the credibility of this program. Hope you anyone out there could give some thoughts about this...

I don't watch the show but somebody in our Barangay here in Las Pinas won a house and lot, a van and one million pesos!, and he's the son of one of our street sweepers! Lucky guy, I was talking to the mother a few days ago and she told me her son is only 24 years old, living with her and that it would still take a month to claim the price because they still have to fix papers especially the title of the house and lot. Overall I think the show is credible, but whether the host knows, I do not know cause like I said I did not see it. To this day of writing , the mom remains humble and still continue to sweep the streets of our subdivision as a Metro Aide.

Yeah, she also has an "amo" or somebody she works for informally, who advised her to take very good care of her son's winnings because it only comes rarely. My barangay seem to be lucky hehe, a few years back, there was also a local boy who won the lotto, wonder when I would be next

Well, I don't know why you ask this thing. Honestly. I thought everybody knows the truth about those "game shows". All hosts know where the jackpot is in any show, as far as I know. Why? Well, let me ask you this? Why do they always put the contestants in front of those things they are playing but they can see the back and the contestant not? The answer - the "sign" or "clue" where the jackpot is lies there. Maybe it is a line, or a color, or anything. Don't you wonder why in other games they always make it feel more suspense by opening first those who do not contain the jackpot and they always know what to leave last? It's because they all know where is what.
Every game is like that. If not, they'll be ruined. I hope you understand now. It's not cheating. It's really how this thing goes. I never thought anybody would ask such a stupid question or think like that. Oh, I'm sorry for that. I hope you don't mind. I'm sorry. But I think what you're asking is pretty "unreasonable"... or maybe just something I never thought anybody does not know...

Yeah, it was pretty stupid that I don't know that all hosts know where the jackpot is(facepalms myself). But I was blinded because I thought he was cheating again. Because if you've seen this shows other episodes there are times where they wouldn't hesitate to give the contestant nothing(just a small consolation prize), which would definitely save them money BUT at the expense of the contestant. I'm just concerned about the cheating part because they have done it before.

Come to think of it, the host has to make a bargain,to give a certain amount in exchange for what's in the roulette. If the host has no cue on what to make a bargain then it would be impossible to elicit excitement. This is the format of the game , taking chances on the bet of the host. So I think it's just proper that the host have the possible cues given by him by the production staff when the jackpot is hit. I don't know but it's the secret of many tv productions, they will not reveal it unless needed and when its in question (legal )!

Yeah, of course willie knows where the jackpot is. And i dont know if its his decision to give it or not. but im not a fan of willie and of his show. sometimes he also give some clues.

Well I think being the host of the show means that he already is informed where the jackpot is. I really think this is not something hidden from the host since he will be the one that will announce it when it is not won. I have not seen the show there but I think in shows like this one, there is always something that the lingers in us while watching this shows. The integrity of the shows always is in question, but who knows if they are cheating except the operators of the show itself.
