Sometimes, I feel like I want to live in another country since there are a lot more countries richer than Philippines. I want to think that if I will live in those countries, I will enjoy a prosperous and bountiful life. I can buy want I want and be happy all the time., But somehow, I realize that Philippines is still the best place with the best people-hospitable and friendly. So maybe, I just want to experience some time in other countries but I will still love my homeland. How about you?

I was born and live in Bulgaria. I love my country, my family and friends live here... but sometimes I hate it. All my life I've been struggling to survive here, there wasn't a single day that anything in this country was OK. And not because of the economic crisis that hit the whole world. sometimes I wonder what future my daughter will have here. She's only four years old and I find it very difficult to raise her here properly. That's why I sometimes wish I was born elsewhere. But I don't think I will ever have the guts to leave. as to the countries and places I would like to visit, just to see how it is in another part of the planet... Why not? London, Egypt, New York, Washington Library, The Louvre, Saint Petersburgh, Cardiff. These are the places I would like to visit and maybe live in for a while. Is it that much to ask and dream for? I don't think so.

I want to live here in the US, that's why I come here to continue my master degree when I was choosing schools to apply. I hope I can find a job here and live here for the rest of my life. Of course, my own country is a good place, but I like here better, especially the environment. There is no blue sky in my birth place!

I share the same sentiment as yours. I also live in the Philippines, and although I love my country and I'm proud of my roots, I can't help to think and plan of living in another country. The primary reason is the failing economy. The Philippines has lagged behind its neighbors in terms of economy. The unending revelations of corruptive practices in the government are so frustrating. I also feel that it is difficult to achieve a prosperous life in my country, considering the low salary given to employees. Only the rich, the businessman, and entertainment people seem to be able to move forward. As much as possible, I don't wanna leave my country, but the situation calls for it.

aaaaah, Philippines sucks this time of the year. There's rain everywhere and the weatherman forecasts that it is going to be a short summer this coming march.. aargh, no place to skate. grimy grimy grimy.. humid humid humid.. The answer to the question is yes, i want to live in a different country, at least for now until bad weathers passed. i'd like to be somewhere tropic. When i was a kid i love it when it rains, but now? grrrrr... Philippines is still the best though..

Yes I dreamt of living in America as I want to learn their culture and lives but I am saving money yet. Anyway I will be going there for holiday in 1-2 years time to see first. Then I will decide to work and live there.

I am from Nigeria and I presently live in my country Nigeria. The economy is so bad in Nigeria that you can hardly find a good job to keep you happy. Against this background, I have been nursing an ambition to move to europe where the economy is a lot better and there are good employment. However, as europe and america started having some economic problem lately and there is hardly enough jobs to satisfy european and american. I started thinking that it is best to remain in Nigeria than waste a lot of money on an expensive trip to europe that will not yield me much economic benefit. So it was a thought I used to have in my mind when I was much younger but as I follow events in europe and I saw the huge number of my countrymen that was repatrated or deported from europe my plans suddenly change. I am now trying to adjust to lives within the nigerian context. thank you
