Language used in Hong Kong

i am little bit confused about the language used in hong kong . Their language resembles like chinese language , but some times their language have their characters of their own. So what is the actual hong kong language? Is it the chinese language or it is their own language.

The language that Hong Kong people mostly use is called Cantonese, besides, some of them also speak Mandarin and English but not all of themcan speak very fluently.

Hi, KRYWORLDWIDE. Are you living in Hong Kong. Don't worry. People in Hong Kong used three kind of language - Mandarin, Cantoness and also English. Mandarin and Cantoness belongs to Chinese language, both of them are different dialect. If you want to learn Chinese, i would like to help you.
