This movie was my favorite movie of 2010, it received so much of critics appreciation and in spite of that this movie did not receive an Oscar nomination for the best director, now i have lost my faith in the Oscars, i swear...!!!!!
It just does not make any sense that the movie is being nominated for best picture but not for the best director, this is crazy... the judges are noobs at judging a directors potential, i guess...!!!!

Well, awards sometimes are unfair. Judges are humans too.
Inception is definitely my favourite movie so far. Don't think I'll see another movie that can take its place in my heart.

It is practically impossible for a movie to win the Best Picture Oscar without Best Director nomination. In the Oscar history, it happened only with three movies.Maybe Inception will be the fourth one, but it's highly doubtful that they'll choose it this time.

First of all the oscars are never given to the best movies, just about everybody knows that.
Furthermore the academy has this unexplained reluctance to give awards to sci fi films, especially "big" awards like best director and best picture. The case is so severe that they decided to give best picture to a comedy then to a sci fi flick this year.
lt hardly matters though. Time shows which movies are good and which not. lt has nothing to do with a bunch of miserable movie nerds XD
