Why we called Valentine's Day?

It's called valentines day after a saint who was martyr and it wasn't always associated with the love as we know it as today which is the reason why it was called yeah I agree that it is more commonly associated as a lovers day now but lovers day just sounds wrong to me. Also valentines day should be the love of every one we know and care about not just for romantic lovers.

Yeah. I understand. But lovers doesn't mean only romantic lovers, it could be a married couple or a very old couple.

ohhhhh it was a a very nice time to know about valentine,till now even i was blind to think about this. but that sounds great when we hear for which is hiding back of our history.... thank you, but i wish that every one should know about this and stop playing this romantic valentine.
