Their immune system is not as good as before, that's why they tend to get sick easier. But yes we have to invest in our health, because if we dont we are going to pay for it sooner or later when we get old and we might suffer diseases due to bad eating habits, lack of exercise or vices.

Hi. jricky1. I know what you mean. My grandmother has been sick for a while on and off. I called her on Monday and she had a cold. She was not feeling too well. It is very true, that when you are older, one can become ill more easily. I hope that your grandmother will feel so much better very soon. I will keep her in my prayers.

Hope your grandma is now doing well and great.. My grandmother who's 98 years old was taken to the hospital the other day for missing meal for 2 days and vomiting. We are all worried, more so to our aunts working abroad. Though she's very old and we're lucky we'll be able to reach that age, we all do our best to maintain her good health but very old people can be so stubborn too so we really must be patient considering that all of us will pass through this stage in life.
Wishing each one of us great health throughout the ages. Let's really must invest well so when we grow old, our kids and grandkids will not suffer because of our illness, but we join them always in family fun activities instead. God bless.
