Hello I'm a newbie here at MyLot

I'm trying to learn the ropes around here :) I've been reading a lot of discussions and responding when I've felt the urge to a few of the discussions. Been here a couple of days and just now figured out how to post a Hello to everyone. I have a lot of interests, music, reading oh my the list could just go on and on...and it did when I was choosing my interests when I first joined. Currently I'm unemployed in this horrible economic crisis that's going on. Unemployment benefits have stopped so I no longer have the money to pay bills. I'm looking for things that I can do from home to bring in some kind of income, so if anyone has any ideas shoot me a note. As of right now anything that I choose to do will have to be free to start lol. I'm terrible at coming up with ideas to explain ME, so if you have any questions for me I'll be glad to answer them.

Like others, I would say Welcome to MyLot. If you want to communicate with others privately, add them as friends. If you want to see more discussions by any user, add them as friends. I have read your responses in a few places and I will say I am sorry for your losses, all of them. You can check people's profiles and see what links they have that might make money for you, but people like me do not often update like we should. I had surgery and instead of just taking my sick leave, I realized the stress was killing me on that job and we had paid off a big bill. So I quit. They offered alternative work, I refused it. No unemployment at that time.If hubby had stayed employed we could have made it okay. I have had three temporary jobs since then and so now I can draw unemployment. Ran out of the original, and am on first tier of emergency funds. Nothing around even to apply for. I make a little bit at a few sites. None of them are exactly like MyLot, but are pretty good. Do not go with my profile, it is not current, and what I have there is not earning for me.

Thank you GardenGerty for the Welcome to MyLot. Yes, my losses have been great, but I'm still around for a reason. Just to figure out what that reason is..... OMG, you have had it rough. I know what you mean about there being nothing to even apply for. It seems that even though I have 20 years + in the clerical/admin environment, employers would rather I wash dishes for a third of the wages I need to make my household run. I am single so it's really tough to make it on one salary. I can't do it for minimum wage! At any rate, I look forward to many conversations with you in the future :)

Hi Krajibg, nice to meet you. Thank you for the welcome! Yeah, I'm doing a lot of reading about the do's and don'ts around here....getting educated :) That way I don't do a no no and get into trouble for it. I look forward to many more chats with you and the others around here.
