Have You ever hacked your friends?

My wife's son vanished a few years ago. He does that kind of thing but it worried her when we did not hear from him. I checked hospitals and jails but came up blank. I wanted to find out if he had read his email. I sent him a couple with no reply. So I hacked into his email account, not to read his stuff but to find out if he had been online. He had not. When he finally showed up I told him what I had done and said I had to change his password so he needed a new one. He wasn't upset about it at all. As a matter of fact, he was impressed that I could do that.
