I suggest a short holiday to adjust yourself
If you cannot develop your interstings any more, you can really make another choice.
Before you leave, you should well-prepared for your next job.
Good luck to you.

I joined this job just 8-9 months back, so It is not good to change job now, as it will impact my profile. Also, in my company leaves are very less, so I cant take holidays as I am planning to take leaves in March.

When your job bores you, it will really downgrade the quality of work you deliver. When this happens everyday of your life, then it's time that you find a new job, or you may be fired of your low quality of work.

I think you are correct, either I have to make yourself to get a new job or start getting interest in the work otherwise it would be difficult for me.

There can be job opportunities in your own country or abroad. Many people seek jobs in foreign countries. There are a number of emplyment agencies which are recruiting internationally for employers abroad. So, you might want to try that way. It may take time, but if interested, you might try that too.
Good luck to you !

How about keeping your job for now, at the mean time, look aroudn see if there is anything you are interested so you won't lose your current job until you find something that you want to do, and you can still payoff your bills.

I suggest you discuss with your boss seeking for a possible transfer to another department. Perhaps you can write officially seek for transfer to a department that you really love and your service is required

Hi saur,
I think you are suffering from job burnout, when everything becomes routine and challenges are few.
You should consider seeking more ways to be happy in work. Or you should take time to be away from it all, filing a leave of absence, or taking a vacation. Variety can make the ordinary extraordinary most of the time. Have a break sometime, do something new and our perspective shall be renewed as well.
I, myself is suffering the same syndrome as you are now, but I make it a point not to go down with it. I just look at the people on the streets, looking for jobs, having no money and all, and my resolve is renewed every time I do it. I always take a broader outlook, looking beyond myself, my biases, my judgement, and in no time at all, I see a brighter future even if the present looks bleaker by the minute.

Well, the truth is if you can't find another job there isn't much you can do. Just take comfort in knowing that most people feel the same way about their jobs.
Losing interest and getting bored with your job is actually normal and it's due to the everyday routine, unless you have a job where you can do different things every now and then .

You can really use some vacation as someone else suggested, if you can afford it, of course. Take some time for yourself and reconsider everything about your job. Obviously you need this job to make living. If you only work for this and it doesn't satisfy you, it's the worst case scenario. But before listening to many that said find another job, sit back and think DO YOU have good options to choose from? What if you switch jobs and turns out the new job is no different from the old one? That's why you need your vacation, whether it's paid or non-paid leave. To make up your mind. Also a good suggestion is to try and find something different, like some kind of work-at-home job. To make money from the comfort of your home. How does that sound? I myself work at office and I know how boring this work sometimes can be. But generally I love my job and I hope I will keep doing it.
Good luck!
