Which will you prefer? A highly-compensated or low-paying job?

Well, there are really a lot of factors to consider here, not only the length of work done. One easy way to decide on this is to compute your hourly wage. I mean, given a the work hours of the low-paying job, how much do you earn per hour of work? And then contrast this with the high-paying job. Get which amount is greater, and that's the one I'll prefer. I mean, you work 2 hours a day and say you get $20. Contrast this with working 8 hours a day but getting paid $200. I'd rather work longer hours :)

Wow! You have a great idea there! I will remember that strategy. :) Thank you for sharing your idea. It is really helpful for me especially that I am currently searching for a job.

Hi everyone!
I will prefer working long hours but of course with good compensation because as compare to the other one that it doesn't only pays low but could also waste your time doing nothing after work. This makes me feel satisfied that my time has been useful.

Currently, I have the low-paying with less time staying at work job. I go to work early, only because I don't want to get stuck in traffic, but I go home every single day on the dot. The pay is low, and now I have finally succumb to the fact that I need a higher paying job to survive and to grow with my life, so I'm thinking of looking for a new job hopefully one with high-paying-job-with-less-time-staying-work. Hehehee!

It would really depend on the pros and cons of either job. For me, though, a strong pro is whether I would enjoy the job - feel fulfilled, or something like that. Although, I would lean more on the highly-compensated job with long hours. When I'm happy in a job, I could go for long hours without noticing the time.

I prefer the highly compensated job with long hours. In our country's economic status, you really need to work hard to have what you need. I also consider the happiness I am getting from my job, I will not endure being tired as long as I am happy of what I am doing ;)
