How is the Engineering profession??

Hey shah_bm3, I think engineering is great. I am going to major in engineering too, although I'm not fully sure which one yet. You are doing one of the top three engineering fields. They are, not exactly in this order, aerospace engineering, software engineering, and electrical engineering. Each field has its own unique characteristic. For your field, I believe that you can get a good job; the pay is good, the stress levels are low, and it requires little, if any, physical requirement. Have fun!

I think that it is a pretty good profession- most of my friends are taking engineering courses. It is quite interesting and it has lots f majors to choose from too. It's a famous curse in our country.

i find this very funny..i wonder where you are from.In India where i am from ,most people join this course.Its more than 20 lakhs engineers passing out every day in my country.So this question is irrelevant as i myself is studying engineering.Anyway nice to meet you.Hey i am thinking of doing some projects like line tracing robot.Have u got any better idea or any suggestion on the robot thing.

My father is an engineer as well, he is currently working on planes engines. I don't have much knowledge on engineering since I am an art student, but I think being an engineer could ensure you a stable income.. however I feel that more and more grads are engineering cert holders, so its getting kind of common right now. :o
