what to do when you are bored at work

I always go through this same feeling every now and then. I honestly don't know what is wrong me with me lately and I feel the interest in working as actively as I did the first days I have started in my present employer. Now, I surf the web more often and a little laid back when it comes to my tasks. How do you guys break the ice of boredom? Though surfing the web can be an outlet, it does not mean it's helping me out eliminate this negative feeling of mine towards work right? Your two cents worth will be appreciated.
