good feeling

Four days ago I received my driver's license. Three times I went to driving school, but the first two times I do not have time for. And now, when I felt small in my hands a certificate AAAAA fantastic, I felt so great, as if I have once again been granted a passport! A great feeling. And what were your feelings upon receipt of a driver's license?

How wonderful and congrats to you. It has been some time when I first received my drivers license but I do remember smiling cheek to check feeling like I was so important. lol

It truly is a great feeling. Having one is like being granted the permission to do one of the best activities in life which is driving.
I can not explain it but I see that driving is quite an experience. For some it is just an ordinary everyday thing to do, but given some circumstances, it is something more.
There was this one time that truly tested my driving skills. One day my mom was not feeling well. She was throwing up but it was blood that was coming out. She was bleeding heavily inside and so she must be rushed to the hospital. She passed out even so I thought that she was gone. Having to know that even if a person has stopped breathing, she can still be revived if admitted in time in the hospital. As I got the car and she carried inside, as soon as the engine starts, it was like a roller coaster ride. Running across traffic and even facing oncoming traffic was something. In the end, my mother went well and I was so glad that I know how to drive and I have a license to do so.

Yes, driving is a talent. To so many people we are often angry, and do not understand why they have a driver's license. I agree must be able to drive, especially in such crucial moments as the case with your mom.

I have that same feeling often times. I just can't understand why they are allowed to drive. They have to undergo some hours to be able to learn the basic traffic rules and good behavior while on the road. It is really hard to understand why they do not apply all the knowledge they earned once on the road.
I have been in harms way a couple of times already. I fell more convenient when I drive my bike than my car. You know what they say that when you are riding a bike, your other foot is already on the grave. I oftentimes disregard this saying but in the long run, I think it is true. Some drivers do not mind the motorcycle riders. They never see me coming. They just keep on cutting me. You just have to be well aware of the cars and other vehicles with you on the road these days. Sad thing is, even if it is not your fault, once you are driving a bike, you tend to have the worst condition after a collision.
I just hope that the authorities responsible with traffic would do more to prevent the unwanted events.

Congrats!!! and be careful on the road.
Getting my driving license was a great feeling,it was like getting an additional qualification,though it was shortlived and supressed by my want of a particular brand new car which was out of my reach.
