Watching Asian Movies

Aside from watching typical Hollywood Movie, I enjoy viewing Asian Produced movies. So far, I watched most Korean Films since its readily available in our country. Seen one Indian Movie titled 3 IDIOTS and I must say it was one of the best movies I seen in my life. Any recommendations? Or your thoughs on Asian-produced films?

I do very much like Asian movies. Korean movies are very popular here. They are really very good, interesting stories, excelent directors. I also get to watch Indian movies. There is a channel on the TV which presents foreign movies, including Indian movies.

On our cable, we have as well but the thing is it doesn't have english subtitles so usually I watch it through DVDs.

I grew up watching hongkong Action flicks. Well when I watch Korean films its always romance dramas like boys over flowers.

boys over flowers was series :D yes, I too mostly at first started Korean Movies that are in the genre of romance. But evetually after being more aware of the Korean Film industry, I was able to find and watch other genres that are made artistically and critically acclaimed in other parts of the world.

I do watch Asian movies.The first Asian movies that reached me were Indian movies.Love stories with dances and songs.
I liked the colorful landscapes and the way they moved.Later I discovered Japanese culture and I started watching Japanese movies.I think that J-horror is unique.And I simply adore Anime!I haven't seen many Korean movies, but I'm interested in them.I especially enjoy movies that reflect the culture.

If its culture you are after, you should try Korean. yes I have to agree Japanese has very interesting take on horror movies. :D
watching 3 IDIOTS actually surprised me since it showcased how teh country side of India really looks luscious.

, I also enjoy watching Asian Movies. my sister like to watch korean films.
asian produced films are good but some of my friend said that Hollywood movies were still the best. I agreed them somehow.

Nowadays, in my case I just find Asian, specifically Korean Movies more substantial. It depicts more on culture of the orient nations in which I can totally relate.

I love korean movies and dramas. They are so interesting and the actors are really good looking. I lovee taiwanese dramas too.

It's been a while but I typically enjoy watching Asian movies too. I mostly stick with Chinese, Japanese and Korean movies but I have ventured out and seen some Bollywood and other movies. They are actually quite refreshing from the usual Hollywood movies. I typically watch martial arts movies as well as comedy and horror movies.
I don't really know what genre you like but here are some suggestions. If you're into romantic comedies try My Sassy Girl (Korean), for action try Red Cliff (Chinese), and for dramatic thrillers try Battle Royale (Japanese).

I like watching korean movies. But I'm more into the romantic-comedies. I watch movies to entertain myself so I opt for feel-good movies with happy endings. :)
