Tonight Milan will face Tottenham and Valencia will welcome Schalke as Champions League resumes after a long break. I think that Milan vs. Tottenham is the headline today and I also think that it will be a great spectacle, with two teams who will make a thrilling game. My tip for this is 3-1 for Milan, because I think they have much more experience than Tottenham, who plays well mostly on home ground. Valencia vs. Schalke: According to bookmakers, Valencia is the favorite to win tonight, but I see things a bit different. I think that Schalke will defend well and Raul will score a goal against Valencia. My prediction: 0-1. Now I would like to see what your thoughts and predictions are! Please let me know.

I am writing after the matches and so know the results. Spurs have beaten AC Milan 1-0 thanks to a Peter Crouch goal. Spurs really hammered AC Milan and it was lucky for Milan that they were still with 11 players and just one goal down at the end of the match. The other match between Valencia and Schalke ended in a 1-1 draw. Cheers! Ram

Yes, football is now getting more and more a like Rugby these days. I think the referees need to start acting strict now else good footballers careers might be at threat. Cheers!

Yes, I have seen the game between Milan and Tottenham and I was very surprised to see Milan playing so badly in the first half. Judging after the whole game, maybe a 1-1 draw would have been more fair, but Milan should have had Gattuso and Flamini sent off. No need of what they did on football grounds. As for Valencia vs. Schalke, I was happy to see that a German team got a draw on away ground, having better chances to qualify. These being said, I think that everybody still has chances to qualify, nothing is decided yet.

Well let's start with Milan vs Tottenham. I think this match is going to be great. Before I heard about injuries I thought, that Tottenham had a chance even though Milan is extremely good at home. But since I've heard that Tottenham will be without Bale, Van der vaart and another one, then I don't think they have any chances against Milan at home. We saw that even Realy Madrid had great problems against them. So I go for a 2-0 or maybe 2-1 win for Milan. Valencia - Schalke 04: Well a hard game to predict. I also think the bookmakers have too high odds on Schalke 04. It's 2 middle teams in Champions League, so I would go for the draw for this game. I don't know anything about injuries, but 1-1 seems possible. Hope we can have a lot of Champions League discussions.

Well. 1-1 in Valencia. Valencia scored after 17 minutes by R. Soldado. Schalko 04 equalized in 64th minute by Raul. The match ended 1-1 as I said (a bit lucky). Schalke 04 got a red card in the last minutes of the match. I think this result is good for Schalke. Milan-Tottenam was a nice match. Tottemham scored in the 80th minute by Peter Crouch. The last minutes was very dramatic. Zlatan Imbrahimov scored in the 94th minute, but it was canceled, and the Milan team was for sure frustrated. Tottenham was the best team in first half, but in second half Milan was much better and got a lot of chances. Gatuzzo had a bad game I think, and his only purpose was to create a bad atmosphere. I think he should have get the red card. This result is for sure a perfect result for Tottenham. They have a great chance.

Yes, you were right with Schalke, and I was right that Raul is going to score. I think, after seeing the highlights that Valencia was a bit better, but I trust Manuel Neuer a lot, in my opinion he is the best goalkeeper in the world right now. As for Milan vs. Tottenham: I was shocked to see Milan in the first half. Not a single goal scoring opportunity, pretty surprising, if you ask me. As for Gattuso, I don't know what was the deal between him and that official from Tottenham, but headbutting him, that is a red card for me. And Flamini should have been sent off as well, after that terrible tackle which injured Corluka. I think the goal scored by Milan was not regular, so the referee did well to cancel it. First of all, Ibra seemed to be in an offside position and secondly, he clearly pushed his defender away.
