What is the best specification of computer to run Firefox smoothly?

I'm running a windows xp pro in my old Pentium 4 pc, im trying to use firefox but it is very slow to browse every time i use firefox. does the browser have an effect with my pc specs?

, there is not much specification is needed. It is just a browser, which capable of running at any time. SO i think not much specification is needed
. Just 1Gb RAM is enough to run firefox smoothly. But we should be aware of the number of programs at the time of running

That is the cool part about Mozilla fire fox . You can adjust it to your system. Just go in it's settings and tweak it to your computer.
