Think!
youngster lotters, think of what you would do if you have lived then.
can you make a trivia in our past?
elder lotters, this is just to reminisce our past.
can you reminisce and share it to us, your younger lotters!
make a trivia in our past.

My husband was watching the film Saving Private Ryan the other day. It makes me cry. It is so sad that the mother had the letters on the same day to say that she lost 3 of her 4 sons. Who gave most, the mother who lost all of her sons or the mother who only had one and lost him? It just makes me feel so glad that my husband and son did not have to live through those times. Also, I feel very grateful to those who did so that I may live in peaceful times. We were on a crowded train recently and shared a table with some new recruits - I thanked them for serving to protect us. Thank you also if you are reading this and you had to help fight for our peace.

redcaps, grunts, redlegs, are sung heroes! BUT, only few knows that being a hero is a matter of perspective. we, private, can be a hero in our own ways too, whether big or small. being a hero does not mean only offering oneself ready for the blood sacrifice one can offer to his or her country.

if live then I would have join the Allied army and engage in many battles, though I prefer to be a general rather than a mere private.
