Smartphones: Which should I get or which one is better?

Well, I am contemplating on buying a new mobile phone preferably a smartphone. So, I am thinking of buying either an iPhone 3GS or a Blackberry Bold 9700/9780. Both are though secondhand but in good condition with zero to minor scratches. I was thinking on passing up on the Iphone to save up for a newer iphone which I hear is coming out within this year. Any advise?

Definitely is 9780. 9700 is an older version while 9780 has a bigger memory. Bold series been a work force and I really loving it. I am using 9700 right now.
If you like a phone more towards a toy, then it going to be iphone. The best is going to the shop and try them yourself. The one you feel is the best and that is the one for you!

Well, I am asking a friend to look around for me. I hope though what she saw was a 9780. If it was then it is all set I am sure I would probably get it.

It is really hard to say what phone would work besot for you, as everyone is different. I don't have an Iphone, or a Blackberry. I have used Blackberry before, but I really didn't like it all that much, and I vowed I would never buy another one. The phone I have now, I just bought on sunday, and it is the HTC Mytouch 4G, which is a very cool phone. The best feature I like is the video chat features, as my daughter and I live over 2000 miles away from each other, so being able to see her when we do the chatting, to me makes it all worthwhile, and the phone is worth buying, at least in my opinion it is anyway. It has plenty of features, some of which I have never used, as I am still trying to figure out the phone, but I just want to take my time to get it all figured out. I am really enjoying the phone, and I know I will enjoy it for a long time to come. Take care, and have a very good day.

Well, I thank you for your advise and your response. I have heard about HTC, and I have heard good stuff about the phones they produce. But, I am currently wanting a Blackberry or an iPhone.
