I like to use Google Chrome to my Windows 2000 PC. But Unfortunately it says it not compatible to my present OS. Is there anything I can do? Because I have encounter problem in Mozilla crash for 8 times now today.
What should I do? I already re-installed the Mozilla Firefox and yet I still encounter mozilla crashed.
Please I need your advise.

There's a technique on how to use Mozilla Firefox without experiencing those crashing problems. Instead of opening pages in "tabs", you may try opening them "in a new window" instead. Just like those old days with Microsoft Internet Explorer.

Like many have mentioned, upgrade your OS to the latest? Someone also mentioned of opening Mozilla Windows instead of tabs to work you way around because Mozilla is not like Chrome that every single tab is like a new separate window, that's why it doesn't affect the rest when one tab crashes!~

I had that same problem with my old computer, which was also a Windows 2000 machine. I wouldn't let me upgrade to the newer version of Firefox, and it wouldn't let me install Chrome at all. I really think they should have to consider all OS when coming out with new browsers. Hopefully you can figure out a way, because I sure couldn't despite my trying.
As a side note, there was a nice sale on computers a couple months ago, so I snapped one up before they were gone for just $400! Now that I've got my new computer, all I use is Chrome :D

You're a little out of options here. Chrome official website says it requires XP, so forget about it. I don't know if there are older versions around and if they do support Win2000, that would be the best posible way if you really like it.
My opinion is that moving to XP is pointless only for a browser, and you'll end having a slower system for nothing. But tell us, what computer are you using? RAM? Proccessor? HD?
The only thing I may suggest thinking about another browser. I like Opera, and it supports Win2000 without problems. IE6 is the last choice, it's compatible but rather outdated and of course the worst browser ever.

your last choice is to upgrade your OS or try another browser that fits you....

hi friend, like the first post, upgrading the operating system to XP or better change it altogether to Windows 7 is the best option since as OS becomes older, many programs are no longer supported so it does not function properly. None support also poses security issues, good luck

I had chrome for a short time. I had to get rid of it in the end. Chrome is always running so it slows down my internet fast. Plus I do not see the difference with chrome than with firefox.
