Lately most of the bands we focus on hardcore, metalcore, emo and other genres of this type. Besides the dedicated troops in heavy not really hear me of updates. How did he come to this?

There are certain genres of music which never die;hardcore, metalcore and so on may be still fashionable now because they are favoured by media, but true metal has always survived even in the 90s when it was its worse period, and then it regained much of its popularity, especially after the rise of symphonic metal. So I'm not worried at all, heavy metal will never disappear, especially when there are many radio stations on the Internet which allow people from all over the world to listen to this great, yet much underrated music.

I totally agree with you, as long as there are people that listen to hevy-metal, it will never die, as long as the heavy metal will have an audience, will always remain alive.Let's hope that a new band to emerge and lead on the reputation of this style in "music history", and indeed not to be underrated. My favorites were and will remain those of Manowar:"When Losers Say It's Over With You Know That It's A Lie/The Gods Made Heavy Metal And It's Never Gonna Die".

As the saying goes "Metal will Never die". Look at the bands that are around, Judas Priest, Scorpions, Accept, Helloween, Ozzy, they are around. Yes, Judas Priest are going to be semi-retired soon, and yes, maybe some bands dont seel on the level of when Metal was true Metal.. not this hardcore or nu-metal rubbish thats about. And in a wayk, it can be controlled by the media as young people of my age and younger are far too impressionable (im not). Look at people like Alice Cooper, Deep Purple, even The Who (whats left of it), Motorhead, Saxon and so on who have had a huge influence on the music, they still tour and do really well. Real Metal doesnt need to update itself too much, if it does then it wont be true metal. Ofcours,e they do qadapt to the times, in their own way. Looks at Whitesnake (not strictly metal), they are up to date but still true to its core.
But if you are wondering why Metal isnt what it used to be, its the corporate capitalists and the media. They see things like true Metal as a threat and therefore look to jump on the bandwagon of other music and try and drown out Metal. It wont work though.

It depends on what one wants define as metal really, because genres for music have over expanded into useless labels in some instances and the lines, especially in rock are a blurred mess of who cares: it rocks or it don't. Are you talking Hair band metal or anything specific? A lot of what I would call metal has been dull for a long time now, seems many metalheads grown into forming metal bands themselves lack any new spark of creativity.

I meant real hevy-metal bands like Manowar, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath ... Hair Metal had many hard rock influences and was a huge success in the '80s because of melodic rhythms, beautiful boys picture of troops and popularity created by their numerous MTV videos and concerts. It is true what you say that more and more bands are lacking creativity and lost their spark, and I mean exactly that, we hear bands, such as those listed, who through their music to stay hevy-metal history?

Sometimes I just wonder and ask myself. Why people need to separate and categories metal? There are so much metal genre nowadays but the fact is they all start and root from Heavy Metal. Why don't just stick to heavy metal. But maybe they want to be unique and look like new sounds of metal.
But I still think there shouldn't be too much metal genre. Just stick to heavy metal.
