I used to watch the old series when it aired on sci fi channel. I liked it alot. The new one seems kinda , I dunno not good. Let's see what you all have to say, which one you like better?? Why??

I've never seen the original version, but I rather like the new one. It's nothing amazing, but I love the story and the characters and the acting seems good too. I'm disappointed that it seems to be doing poorly with ratings and is at risk at getting canceled.
I think it's a shame that people always want to compare original versus remakes. Remakes never seem to be as strong as the original, most likely because it's NOT an original story so people automatically think less of it. However, from the perspective of someone who was introduced to the "V" story through this version, I think it stands strong even if it's not like the original -- that's probably best that they are trying to change it a little bit so it's not predictable to those who watched the old series.
That's just my humble opinion....

The old 1980 series was the best. The acting was far better and the story line flowed a lot better trhan the recent re-make.
It was strange to see Robert Englund playing a different role to his Freddie Kruger, and I thought Diana (Jane Badler) was better scrpted and was more realistic.

I've seen the old one and liked it. When the new one started, I was a little disappointed due to the fact that a lot of the storyline was changed. After watching several episodes of the new one, it kinda grew on me and am now anticipating every release of new episodes mainly because of the same reason that disappointed me. The storyline is almost entirely different and of course more fitting for todays generation and feels like its totally new story unrelated to the old series.
