Is It True That, "You Can Make Money Online" by uploading your photos?

Does anyone know if this is possible? Or a good site that actually will pay for good photos that you send to them? I would love to give it a try.

Yes, it is possible and I know a site that offers the possibility to upload images and get paid when you share them. The site is called Ziddu (ziddu.com). If you are a professional photographer or designer, you can upload your photos to stock photography sites ( eg. www.istockphoto.com, www.dreamstime.com), where users must pay in order to download your high quality photos and you get commission from the sale.

Ziddu pays $0.001 per download and at stock photography sites it depends on how much customers pay for your photo. Usually you will get 30%-50% commission. Based on the facts that I heard from people who are in this business, at IStockPhoto you will get paid an average of 1 dollar for every 5 photos per month. So about 20 cents per photo a month.
