The quality of work given to animated movies compared to the others.

For some reason, every time you finish watching animated films you would feel good and you will have a better view on things. I am a 22 year old guy and I am a Filipino. Back here, most parents would also tell stories to their kids to make them fall asleep. The difference thou is that for some families who could not afford books about fairy tales, they would make up stories that would entertain their children. So like those kids, my parents did not read me fairy tales so I never was really familiar with these fairy tale characters. Yesterday I watched TANGLED. It was an animated film about Rapunzel. It was just yesterday that I knew of her and was really entertained given my age now. For years now, I have been a fan of animated films. I never got disappointed after watching them. I am a fan of shrek, ice age, astro boy, and the like. Every time I watch them, a shed of tear would always come out of my eyes because some of the lines from these movies will get into you. These lines may be simple and common but the way it is delivered is different. I am looking forward to animated films in the future. They make me feel good and inspires me to be better in lots of ways.

hi jhaidro, I would like to see Tangled this weekend I find the movie trailer really appealing especially to kids at heart life me. I like funny animations such as Shrek, Ratatouille and most likely anything from Pixar and Disney. Animated films took years to developed/finished and I totally salute people behind this art/work.

Hey Dani. You really should give it a watch. You will not regret it. It is hilarious. I agree. Pixar and Disney does a great job with their work. The work they do truly is amazing. I also have to give it to the writers. The words they put in the movie are great as always.

There are some amazing things that can be done with animated films to be certain. With a good budget, they can really make some amazing visuals to say the very least. With live action movies, there can be some amazing special effects, but they can take you out of the movie, by looking a bit too fake to say the least. With animated movies, there is not as much as an emphasis on realism. So there is really no need to be too worried about how real everything is.

I totally agree with you. This fact makes it really fun to watch and does not make you think so much of realism indeed.

I like watching children's films in general. They're just so happy and innocent and pure! Kids films tend on the side of being more inspirational, while adult films get really cynical. I'm a 19 year old woman and I still love children's films and books. In my opinion, the best entertainment can be enjoyed by people of all ages. Some of my favorite animated films are all the Disney classics, Tangled, How to Train Your Dragon, Shrek Forever After, Up, and Wall-E.

Hey Ally. It has been a while. Maybe I should start more discussions about movies to get a hold of you. I like wall-e too. We are more of a conservative type and I can say that these kind of movies are always safe to watch with kids. I understand the needs of man with regards to the other gender, I hope you get what I mean, but I see no point in showing it for the sake of realism. I really do not think that there should be a scene in it having them doing that certain activity. We can live without having to watch it. This scenes are especially expected with action movies and other action adventure movies which kids like to watch. In cinemas, I think they do cut them but in rental shops, the movies there are not edited. I was able to watch Piranha 3d not so long ago and there was so much exposure there. When kids see the trailer, for sure they would want that but I think that upon watching it, parents will have a lot of explaining to do. The next day, when I was returning the movie, there was one kid who then asks his mom to get it and she did. I wanted to warn her about it but I guess the dude in-charge will not like it.
