Probably Fiji, or any place in that sort of region where french polynesia and other small islands are located.
If anyone know what this region is called-in ocean terms, I'd appreciate it; it's on the tip of my tongue and is starting to get to me :P
I want to say east indo-pacific, but I think indo-pacific is what is used for the body of water above australia, and not east of it.

You're referring to the South Pacific Islands. It consist of the islands you mentioned plus a string of island extending eastward from Australia to include Papua, New Guinea, Solomon, Vanuatu, Tonga, Samoa, and Cook Islands. They are south of Guam, Marshall, Kiribati and Hawaii Islands and North of New Zealand.
A lot of history in these islands during the Second World War. It was the staging area of Gen Douglas MacArthur in his long way back to retake the Philippine Islands from the Japanese occupation.

Thanks, much better now :D.
Living on one of the smaller ones would be nice and calm.

I would come with you! Hahaha. Africa is also my dream vacation, and to have that authentic safari trip, and be with nature and wild animals in their natural habitat.. It's just really something that I have dreamt of since I was a kid, and hopefully someday I'm going to be able to fulfill that dream.

There are of course many places of interest around the world that I would very much like to visit, to see and to learn about the unique cultures and traditions. One country I have read a lot about and have seen beautiful pictures, but have never been to yet, is Mongolia. I have been looking forward to the opportunity to visit Mongolia.

Hi Hot,
I would like to pack my hunting gear, GPS, and all to the great northern territories of Canada and live off the land for a month. I have a cousin there in London, Ontario and maybe, we could go together just like the old times as we do in the local hunting grounds in our hometown.
How I miss the great outdoors, maybe if I have the logistics, I would definitely go there.

This is sort of what I would want to get away from :P. I'm not really one for the cold(can handle it, but do not enjoy it-too bad I live where it gets to -40 C regularly in winter :().
I'd like to live off the land in one of the tropical islands in the south pacific(thanks for stating what they were, it was tickling away at my brain..)
I'd do some old fashioned spear fishing and netting(cast netting is such an easy way to acquire fish-especially with the newly designed nets-You can get a school of 20 good sized eating fish with one simple throw). Food wouldn't be much of a problem, or even so much the weather; but, water, that would be hard to come by on one of the more secluded islands. Good thing for coconuts though :D
In the north it is quite the opposite, you have plenty of snow for turning into water, but the lack of food and the harsh weather, would be what you would have to deal with. Summer wouldn't be as bad as winter though...

I would like to meet a friend of mine in Lima and travel together around Peru. One of the places we would go is Machu Picchu. We would love to go up to the Inca ruins in the mountains of Peru. We would hope to see some wildlife and in the jungle see some macaw parrots. I have recently come home from a trip to Colombia and I would love to see more of South America.
When I was in my mid twenties I traveled to Kenya and went on a five day safari to the Masai Mara and Lake Nakaru. I saw zebras, giraffes, elephants, hippos, a leopard, two lions and some crocodiles. It was amazing to meet the Masai Mara tribe. Two years ago I took my disabled toddler son to South Africa. We went on a two and a half hour safari in a game reserve.

I'd love to go to England and experience the peace and quiet at Surrey on cottage called Rosehill cottage. It was a really cute and comfy one that made me think of the witch's house in the story Hansel and Gretel. I saw this cottage in the movie HOLIDAY. They say such place does not exist, but if given a chance I would like to cuddle near a fireplace with my fiance in a sweet country home or cottage in Surrey.
