Headphones at work

My work have some cool options. Ability to listen music everyday while working is one of them. I am sitting in front of my PC and i am not working with clients, so i can do my job the way i like.
About half time of my working time per day i am spending with headphones on my head. I am listening last.fm free music player using Google Chrome extension. many of my colleagues have the same situation and when they want, they can put headphones to not listen what others are talking.
There is a lot people who work in conditions when they simply cant wear headphones and i feel sad for them. From the other hand, thats their job and thats was their choice to work such job.

I agree but disagree with the last part. Right now with the economy many people have to work with jobs they may have not wanted but is force to, in order to take care of there family.

I know, i am working a job which i don't like to do, but there is nothing much better in here and i am happy that i have work in this worse economical situation.

maybe, but from the other hand it could do some mess to your work since music taks a lot of attention.

It depends on music you listen. there is people who like to listen just music they like and there is people who don't car what to listen and there is those who listen just a radio. :)

I love working with my headphones on as well, sometimes it helps me concentrate on my work more and show people that I am actually busy working, so don't disturb me. I think that headphones are vital for people who work in the open plan workplace.

Cool to know. I like to use music listening for increasing my mood from bad to positive. :)
