Hi guys... I'm in a pretty good mood this night about starting discussions. So most of you might have came across those DATA ENTRY SITES. And you must agree that they ask you to pay for a certain amount before you could start earning "$$$$"...
Well, I actually decided to purchase one of them. My-Data-Team.com for $49.95. Yeah... it's the one with (-)... there's another one without that. So, this is what I had inside.
They offer training for global data entry, traditional data entry, transcription, and writing for the most part. I must say they offer a pretty good training. But the problem is, they don't give you jobs. They just give you training and where you should go (web sites) to apply what you learned in training. I tried global data entry and I never thought it was actually what it was. It was AFFILIATE MARKETING. They'll teach you about affiliate marketing using PayDotCom.com and ClickBank.com...
Well, they offer a 60-day money back guarantee. I purchased the program February 7 evening, then February 8 morning I was asking for my money back. They did give me my money back with no questions ask. It was funny. As in funny. But at least, I know what they offer and would never fall into them again, right?
In everything we do, we should always look at the lesson earned. And I guess my lesson is this - data entry job equals affiliate marketing.
Well, if you already know it, good for you. Unfortunately, I never knew it until then... :D

All the data entry sites which require money are scam, and in my opinion there doesnt exist any online data entry thing. I also searched for data entry for many days i got this type of things only, so now i never search for online data entry programs

Nearest I've seen to legitimate data entry has been in the "real jobs" world. Up in Manchester companies do actually want transcription work done, normally to upload dta from print to online filing systems. Also, the NHS has data coding clerk vacancies.
In all cases, you generally work at their premises, not your own, owing to security risks. But as for "data entry" jobs online, at a dollar an hour? Forget it. Here, we get paid around 8 GBP an hour for NHS coding jobs.

...Hi Bannybanzi, It is great to hear that once you decided it was not what you wanted that you could get your money back. There are som any things going on to take your money it is not funny. It's a shame that we have to live and learn, but by sharing your experience with everyone it helps people to decide if they want to be involved. I remember once ordering a book with company names and telephone numbers supposedly looking for people to work from home. Problem was the majority of the numbers were disconnected or the companies were out of business. Thank you very much for the information. Take care.

I'm glad you shared your experience on line. I've often wondered about these sites and of course I'd been forewarned that they are scams but you can't help but dream that one day that perfect at-home job will become reality. So if you find something that pans out let us know.

I had tried many survey sites, and also purchased this one too..but then I wanted to have the training and information like when I purchased the autopilots profit of ewen chia..though they do not make you money they give you the vital information how to make money and it depends upon individual efforts whether you can make money using the information provided by them or not.The truth is you can have all this information working online for some time ..for me it took years to know and while purchasing some information its shortening time period between having the information on our own and getting readymade information about something saving our time ..and work.I did not asked a refund...

Thanks for the information. I just wanted to enter into data entry jobs because they promise to pay lots of amount just for simple writings but now i see that it's not so. They paid you your money back? I wouldn't have expected them to!
Guess you were lucky it wasn't a scam then. But you learned something worthwhile no?
Cheers!

In my humble opinion, any data-entry site asking you to pay them so they can give you work is a potential (if not certain) scam. I mean has anyone ever heard about any respectable company requesting from their potental employes to pay in order to hire them ? I know I haven't.

It's no wonder that "data entry job" and "affiliate marketing" is the very same thing O.o I mean, you can't really expect someone to find the job for you, it'd be too easy! I think you should be thankful anyway because they taught you a way to make serious money online. Plus, not everyone is able to work with URL, HTML, banners and things like this...so I guess it would have been useful anyway. If I were you I'd use the money you got back to start what there was written in the guide. There are people making thousands a months thanks to affiliate marketing.
