What's the difference between the two? I don't want to feel dumb in asking this but my mind and fingers are dragging me to type this words. Can someone distinguish both? When and where to use it properly, most especially in writing. Thank you. =)

Feelings are generally tactile...meaning what we can touch, pain is tactile in the sense that there is a physical cause and effect.
Emotions on the other hand are something that is entirely mental, although emotions can affect us physically, some things that are actual medical conditions are attributed to emotion, such as depression or even mania.
Emotions are so difficult to pin down to an actual definition that we resort to such phrases as, 'that hurt my feelings',or, 'my heart is breaking', we understand what the other person is saying and we exhibit compassion toward that person, thus participating in their emotional state while encouraging them to participate in our own.
We've used the two words interchangeably for so long that most people would not notice the word feelings when emotions would be more proper...I suggest you write the way you speak, after all, when we being to speak of emotion, we qualify it in many ways prior to the actual word being spoken, same goes for writing.
We've gotten so good at it, many people have an almost instinctive understanding.
So it's all good.

So do you mean that emotions are something that we feel in our hearts? Thank you. =)

Saying that we feel our emotions in our hearts is about as close to right as anyone is ever going to get...so yes, in our hearts.

Emotions are part of bio-chemically induced state of mind. Tactile related feelings related more towards outside influence caused by physical contact. In many cases, our physical responses to tactile influences can lead to chemical reation in our body & in turn, stir up emotions. For example, when you go to a beach & feel the sand between your toes, that can bring back the memories of father who used to take you to a beach all the time but now passed away & can cause a person to cry or be really sad.
