I am on my way to our office here in makati this morning. Usually i walk one street before i get there. While im walking this morning, i saw our hometown parish priest walking towards my direction and i cant believe it! I dont know what forced me to shout "FATHER!!!" im so excited and happy that i saw him. He's the one who blessed us when we got married. Hahaha! until now while writing this, my happiness is in my nerves! So, we talk for a moment and he said he was lost...he, suppose to attend seminar in rockwell but dont know how to get there. Im glad that i know the place and i told him the direction. We are in a rush because its gonna be late. We parted on opposite direction and i said "Father, take care!"... Thats it! So, you experienced this before? meeting someone you know for a long time, out of nowhere?

Yes, it did happen to me. In 2001 I spent a couple of months vacation in Germany. One of my ICQ friend invited me a for a 2 week-stay in Berlin where he lives. This guy has made my stay unforgettable. He is gorgeous, wonderful, interesting, and all the beautiful adjectives that I could think of. Our attraction went to a deeper feeling towards each other but when he told me the 3 magic words, I turned my back and ignored it, even though deep inside me I had fallen for him as well. I suppressed my feelings as I don't want to be involved in a serious relationship while on holiday. The day of departure came and we counted down the hours. It was a heartbreaking farewell when I boarded the ICE train in Berlin bound for the south - in Muenchen (Munich). I stayed in Bavaria until the time that I need to fly back to Manila. I reached home in October 2001 having the fever of nostalgia in my whole being. In April 2002, I was bound to Doha Qatar and had a stop over in Dubai. Around 7am when I was sitting on a bench in Dubai airport waiting for my next flight....it was just like a dream....when out of the multitude came out this gentleman in a gray pullover (a sweat shirt), those eyes who used to stare at me were looking at me that time....I just can't believe it.....it was him!!! We were both surprised...in a loud voice I called his name.....and we both ran to each other in a tight embrace.....it was only a few minutes of "how are you" and "where are you going"......he had to catch his next flight and so was I.....

No we're not.....he's just a part now of my nostalgic Berlin memory.....he got married to a......one of our "kabayan" (fellow country people) LOL! & Waaahh!!! so my advice to the "pinays" *(filipinas) out there, do not make "pakiyeme" (how can I say this in English? LOL)...if yes, just say YES! If the opportunity knocks, open your door right away!!!

It was so lovely that on your way to your office that you work in you saw the parish priest that married you and your husband. It was superb that you called "Father" to him in the street. I do hope that he found his way to Rockwell for his seminar. I met a Welsh couple on a flight from London to Los Angeles. We got chatting and then we went off our separate ways not expecting to see each other again. Funnily enough I saw them again in Hawaii. Months later it was really funny to bump into them in Melbourne, Australia. Our routes had been different and yet we had met up a total of three times.

I have actually ran into people that I know, in a totally different city than where I lived before. Once my mother and I were on vacation. Now, granted Mom and I live in different states, and we were visiting even another state. I went to my hometown, where I grew up, and picked up Mom. Then we went on our vacation in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. While we were in the town of Gatlinburg, roaming from shop to shop, who did we happen across. It was an older couple from our home town. They were just sitting on a bench along the sidewalk, resting and watching the people go buy. It was such a great meeting, because I hadn't seen the couple in such a long time. I had known them my whole life. And there were so many people in Gatlinburg that day, as it was Memorial Day weekend. I think the odds of running into someone we knew had to be very slim. It was a great joy!

yes, but sometimes I really cant remember where I've met them or I tend to forget their name. But if it is someone that I really know or close too, I would be as delighted as you are now.
