An atheist is somebody that have no religion,no believe, free thinker, and don't believe in god. Maybe many of us is atheist. Don't believe in god that created this world and this universe. I'm a religion man. I believe is god as there is a source that powerful that manage to create this world.Maybe an atheist have there own opinion why they don't believe in god. Maybe because they believe that this life is made by it self. Maybe they will ask, if there is creator, who is the creator of god? There is so much question to ask. So, generally i want to ask why?

We should realize that there is a supreme being who planned and made everything. He created Physics, Science in general. Believing in God is not being superstitious. One who believes in the bible is supposed to believe in God. There, it is written that we perceive Him when we see his creations and when we witness how His prophesies are occurring.

As an atheist I will answer to you
Religions are mainly fairy tales that feed in people's fears of the unknown and ignorance. They make up stories about beings that will punish you if you don't blindly obbey, and so they can keep you as an ignorant sheep, a mere tool to feed its power. Religions have no logical basis, and they can't show a single proof of anything they say, neither they try.
Atheists are people who don't want to be told what to think or what to believe in. We believe in facts, in thinking instead of blindly believing just because we've been told so. I don't want to offend you, but religions and gods are just a bad joke, and it's difficult to believe in that. Science can demostrate every day things that we didn't know, but religion can't, and religious people deny facts and proofs that science can show.
I'm too old to believe in fairy tales and obbey blindly to believe in what I'm told instead of reasoning by myself and learning to think. Being an atheist is being able to think by yourself

I believe people end up as an atheist because of a very painful experience. It was said in philosophy that you can never deny God unless of course by affirming first. So that means, before the atheist believes in God, but beacause of a very painful experience (whatever that is!) he decided that God doesn't exist since God allowed him or her to suffer.

I m belongs to hinduism, bt I believe in jisus, allah and other fairly. I dont like to bind in any one religion and my opinion is there is mo more difference between God and Science. Some hidden truth, discovery, deep research and technology lead science where as the father of science is known as God,the suprime power.
Atheist is somebody who say water is a kind of liquid,a combination of hydrogen and oxygen with a specific ratio whereas one God beleiver say, water is otherwise called life which created by God. But my question is how can hydrogen and oxygen are mixed with a specific ratio, and why ? Who is establish the reason behind it in actual ?
To whom we called science ? May God, the super natural power, who define all happenings in this world and run it smoothly by some specific rules and regulations.Definitely something is there, you may called Him God or Sciecne whatever..

I think it's because they questioned religion. Why do most religions revolve around a god? What is a god? Why is there a god? Does there need to be a god? Where did the idea of a god come from? And they're just questions about god. There are so many different religious subjects with so many different answers. And who's to say that there MUST be a god and there MUST be a heaven. Atheism is just a different way of thinking. It is just as important and relevant as any other religion.

I do not believe in any god, so I am technically by definition an atheist. However, I do not consider myself an atheist because I don't see myself fitting the typical atheist profile. While I am not religious; I am very spiritual; and as such, I believe in many things which the average self-proclaimed atheist would consider woo (supernatural) They use this term usually in a mocking sense.
Here is an excerpt that I found that explains a little of what I am talking about.
"The reason that the AFA would reject Sam Harris as an atheist is the last 3 words in their definition: "or the supernatural". They see atheism as rejecting not only god/gods (theo) but also the "supernatural", thereby turning atheism into atheiwoowoosm! They staunchly defend their definition beyond and rational logic."
And here's the link if you care. I just always site my sources. http://www.atheistnexus.org/forum/topics/sam-harris-is-not-an-atheist?commentId=2182797%3AComment%3A1096392
Anyway, sorry I went off on such a tangent. I will now answer your actual question. lol. The reason that I am an "atheist" is because it makes the most sense to me. I believe what I believe because I have taken (and continue to take) information from all and any sources I can, weigh the possibilities, and come up with a best guess. That is all anyone can ever do- take our best guess. I really think that the world would be a better place if people could only see that. Everyone is always so concerned over who is right and who is wrong.

Because you'll have a funner time: you'll actually get to live your life, instead of following a bunch close-minded rules. No pressure, because you know you'll just be reborn after you die; you won't be constantly making sure your actions won't make you go to "hell", instead of "heaven".

Most people that I have had any discussions with on a serious level have stated that they are atheist because they've never experienced any emotions or feelings that could be considered a "religious experience" for them.
A lot of people have said throughout the past that they've gotten tired of waiting for this being everyone calls Jesus to show up.
As I am a Christian I do not understand the atheist viewpoint.
A little story about one of the most well known atheists in recent United States history was Madeline O'Hare. Each morning when we got to school we said the Pledge of Allegiance and then had a morning prayer. Madeline O'Hare did not want her sons to even HEAR the morning prayer in school. That's why she went on this big campaine and it eventually worked in her favor. The morning prayer was not said in school anymore. The years went by and she managed to be the owner/founder of a big atheist organization. One of her sons had married and had a daughter. He learned about God and Jesus in college and eventually went on to become a pastor. His mother disclaimed him as her son....but his daughter, she was a different matter altogether. She moved in with her grandmother and uncle and became part of the atheist organization. The bad thing was that the grandmother eventually hired someone to work with the organization that eventually kidnapped the 3 of them and got all the money they could from them and then killed all 3 of them....
Much like many other things the atheist viewpoint has won out on many levels regarding public prayer.
I think that most that are atheist (or claim to be atheist) are of the type of people that have to see and touch something for it to be believeable. Since Jesus is not in a physical being form He is not someone who can be seen or touched. Therefore, it would be hard to prove that He is really there.
If I told you that you have an orange ball that follows you around all day long....and you turn around and look behind you and you don't see that orange ball you're not going to believe me that it's there. Unless that orange ball bumps into you you're not going to FEEL its presence...so what do you believe? Nothing! In your mind on the subject of the orange ball....It's just not there.
