is it always the eldest always right? even though they aren't?

For a situation when problem or misunderstanding occurred, most of the time the elders are always right, even though younger ones knows it's not. How would you feel if it happens to you?
For me, I will express what I'm feeling though they will not listen. At least I let them know what's my opinion...but it's always like that. Sometimes, to make the conversation short I will just keep my mouth shut. For giving my respect to them. And I know things will be ok in the future

The older has lived longer and it is no surprise that most of them think they are always right although they aren't...I believe this is caused by the egocentricity that is developed throughout their life...By admitting they are wrong, they think they made themselves silly in front of younger people, which in their opinion are less wise than themselves...I believe your reaction is the best way to handle that kind of situation...

Forgetting some points in my response...
As for me, I will feel the same way as you are...But, just show the elders some respect although they are wrong and you are right...It is to your best interest to keep silent and avoid any unnecessary fight between you and your elders...

Yeah, that's what I do everytime such conversations occurs. Keep silent, maybe they will realize it in due time. That's what youngers do,right? Understand the Elder siblings :)

I just want to clarify something Jovin, Not all the eldest are like what you have describe. Although we tend to fight for what we know is right, the moment that our siblings proven that we are wrong, we humbly apologize and accept what our siblings may say.
