Rihanna Sending Mixed Messages in her Songs

I've read a lot of music critic saying that Rihanna is sending mix messages through her songs since after the release of her song Love the way you lie here she is again with another violence provoked music video called S & M. For me the video is just fun to watch though it's quite graphic and the lyrics is somewhat hard to digest or think of that she do likes those things to be done to her. I haven't read anything yet about her admitting that she likes s & m so can't say if she do what she sings... Guys do any of you know an article or interview she had that suggested she likes s & m or violence in her relationships?
