Teenage girl addicted to soap (O_o)

Holy cow, isn't soap are poisonous when digested? Weird cravings! I hope when she gets pregnant, she won't that weird craving.

I think that is so crazy! That is poisonous!

Of all the things to be addicted to that is one of the strangest. I kept wondering as I read the article how you would get started eating soap? I don't think they should have taken all those pictures. She has a serious problem, and the pictures seem to make light of it.

Hello Albert, This poor girl is sick, there is no doubt about this, but I am disgusted by the photos in this article. How could she agree to pose in front of a plate full of soap and a glass full of washing powder ? Eating soap ? Eating washing powder ? If there is something more wrong than her sickness here, it is the stupidity of the photographer and of the newspaper, and, somewhere, their amorality ! I believe that this family need money and that these photos have been paid, and it is an interesting debate : until what point would you go to earn some money : here the continuous line has been crossed.

I must admit that is rather odd, but then again, the brain is a very complex organ. I'm very glad she managed to reach out for help, though, it does take a lot for a girl to reach out like that. I imagine she felt embarrassed about it, too.

I think she has this mental disorder called pica. It's a craving for inedible stuff. Some even consume nails and other very dangerous objects.

I have about people who eat other kinds of things like hair, soil or chalk, but I have never heard about someone who eat soap. I hope that she will get the right kind of treatment and that she will be able to overcome her unusual addiction. The condition is called pica, but I never really understood what causes some people to eat things that most of us would never eat. When I was at nursing school I learned a little about this illness and some of the things that people eat are pretty disgusting. We heard about one person who drank his own urine because of this illness

Very dangerous addiction! How comes she started this craving for all kinds of soaps? Well, this world see some people like this quite often. I have even heard of a person eating sand and another eating waste tube lights and pieces of glasses too. Heaven's sake they can digest them too.

I did hear about this addiction on The Doctors Show and could not get over it either. I can not understand how they can stand the taste let alone to swallow it. I also saw during the show a women was addicted to eating toilet paper, how she manages to chew that and swallow that is beyond me. Wow, it is apparently an obsessive behavior which they learn to phase out the taste. Whoa!

that doesn't surprise me in the slightest, it's not as odd as other things I've seen on my strange addiction. I've seen people who had odd addictions like that even before that new show. On the Tyra Show she used to have people who eat baby powder and things like that.

Wow, crazy girl :D She are very beautiful, but eat soap... She is stupid, because I like my soap smell,but therefore I do not eat them. She just eat - all, crazy, crazy crazy :D

That is so bizarre! I've never heard of people becoming addicted to things like soap!
