Will Cricket World cup affect employee productivity??????

After 1-2 days, orld cup is going to start in India and other asian countries.
As world cup matches are in india, many people will take leave and go for matches and also many will watch on TV. Some even if they are working but always looking for cricket score. So, ill Cricket world cup affect employee productivity???????

I do not think so but it may be true on coming Wednesday. I have not seen employees in my office watching match during work hours and if they do it would be unethical.
I will not do that, may be will take leave for that day but being in office and watching match, No Way

May be you are dedicated towards work. but I am seeing so many employees who are watching match in office hours specially for India matches.
and I am also one of them.

I understand that and perhaps our company understands this better that is why they arranged 3 big screens in the cafeteria so that employees does not take off and saved from making excuses
