Types of Ayurvedic medicines

hello everyone, Nowadays many people are adopting Ayurveda for a healthy living. I have heard that there are many types of Ayurvedic preparations and some even contain some alcohol. Is it true? What are different types of Ayurvedic medicine available?

Maybe some of the ones that you use topically- not something you would consume. I actually have a big book from the library right here with me, listing a bunch of herbal remedies, and useful information about them. It is simply called HERBAL REMEDIES, by Andrew Chevallier. It'd be a good book to check out; it is very informative. For instance, it has helped me discover at least 3 plants that can help me, which are right in my yard, growing wild. :D
