The e mail in my spam folder deletes automatically in seven days, I believe. I do not go look at them. Hubby goes and looks at his and sometimes keeps some.

I certainly do delete my spam mail some of them maybe scams I do not know but I do not want them clogging up my system. I delete them every morning and also some times in the evening. You never know what kind of virus they may be infecting your system with.

I rarely delete my spam emails. I think it is time to do so now because I have about 9000. Most of the time when the number gets high, I just clear them all out. I just haven't paid much attention to it lately. I think it is time to do something about it now. Thanks for bringing this up!

Hi akan girl: Actually I do this everyday. I think you have to do this because, if it's not an important mail it makes you feel that your mailbox is not clean and I don't like it and they're also a waste of space. And at the same time deleting scam mails is so easy that I think it's a good habitude to delete what you don't need in your email.

I will delete all of them as soon as possible. Scam mails are scam mails. Why should I keep them in my inbox? They will make my inbox loaded with junks and trash and I don't have time for trash emails. It wasted you time to see them one by one as all of them are nothing just whatsoever emails. So just delete them okay?

Hello Akangirl,
I never wait for scam mails to become so numerous. 3000 scam mails! Wow!
I usually delete them every day, because before deleting them I first look at their senders and titles, maybe some e-mail I was expecting for ended up in the spam folder by mistake. This couldn't be possible if I'd wait until I gather hundreds of spam mails.
Why don't you delete any mail?

i always delete my junk mail. I do check it often just to see if anything shouldn't be there. If something is then i will place it in it's appropriate place. But with the rest i delete it. Why keep it? it is junk mail and so it needs to be deleted, i have no use for it and it is pointless just leaving it there.

I definitely have to delete scam mails. There are a lot of scammers in the internet, and i have decided to not trust anyone in the internet, not unless they are real people that i personally know.

Yes, I delete all of them! It seems that scam emails are the only emails I receive these days! I receive literally hundreds in my inbox and it's quite a job getting rid of them all. I use the free email service yahoo. If you leave them to pile up you will eventually end up in a situation whereby you won't have any space available to receive legtimate emails.
The majority of my emails tend to be from scammers asking for my details! They mention that I have won big on some lottery program that I know nothing about and they try to take me for a fool! Well, they will receive what's coming to them! I believe in Karma you see! Anyway, this is the first thing I do in the mornings when I first log into my yahoo account; I get rid of all those scam emails and only then can I concentrate on going through the legitimate ones! wow, 3000 mails thats unbelievable. I receive about 3 to 5 scam and spam mails almost everyday but when it arrived i always deleting it immediately.
And i think thats no problem with not deleting your scam mails (if your email has large space) because it will be deleted automatically after x day by their system

I delete my spam e-mails daily just because I hate seeing such a high number next to anything. I can also make sure that there are no e-mails that got sent to spam on accident. I do a lot of correspondence through e-mail, so it doe happen at times.
