How Many Friends do YOU Have on Facebook?

I have heard of some people accepting any friend requests they receive on Facebook. Are you one of those people? If so, how many friends do you have (estimate)? If not, then what are your thoughts on this idea of accepting any and all friend requests on Facebook? Do you think it is an incorrect use of the site? Do you think it is fine? Post your thoughts...

I am one of those people. I am not picky with people who want to be my contact in Facebook. The reason for this is that I am a blogger and I use Facebook to promote my blogs. So, the more friends I have in Facebook, the more exposure my blogs have. As of the moment, I have 900 plus friends in Facebook.

I only accept people who I know on facebook. Everyone on my facebook are my friends or relatives or someone I know. But actually it's up to the people how they want their facebook to be.

I have 1970. A lot of them are friends I have made via the various games I play there, and then there are quite a few who are actual Business contacts with the various Business things I have done online, offline over the yrs. along with the ones who I know in person via other means as well. It is a great way to meet new people, make New friends and just be you.

Right now it's 59, everyone I've conversed with and the like, also some of Hubby's relatives. I interact with any post that comes up on my wall because I'm genuinely interested in the person/post,as well. I think it's a good tool to keep in touch with people who you know but are in the next province or even another country, saves on telephone bills, that's for sure :-) As far as randomly adding people, I won't do that. If I don't know you, I won't add you. Simple. Sounds mean, but I want to know who's in my list.

I have 2 accounts of facebook, which one is use for my personal which has 340 friends and the other one is for my games which has 334 friends. On my personal facebook account I'm choosing who will I accept as a friend, those are the people I really know while on my secondary facebook account is everybody is welcome. For me inviting too much friends or accepting friend request even you never seen or never been talked to them is incorrect using of facebook account, even though facebook site is made for socializing. I know those consequences should I face if I accept friends without know them, but why should i do it? that's why i have 2 account, my personal and my secondary. My personal account is in private so only my friend which i really knows can see my profile and info about me. While on my secondary account is public where my friends can't see anything about me cause i didn't post any personal things and i didn't update my info on my secondary account. I am afraid to those who accept friend request that they even don't know the person cause I have heard some like that situation who has more than a hundreds of friends on their account murdered, raped, etc. I just use that secondary account for my games. Games needs friends for you to gain experience and to level up, every bodies know that, so thats why on my secondary account every body is welcome. I though it was the same like me, they have purpose why they accept friend request with out knowing the person but me on my secondary account, i didn't post anything about me for my own safety.

I am one of these people. I accept and put them into my limited profile list so they cannot see anything I do other than my game posts. The reason I accept them is for my games. The games I play need so many neighbors in order to get certain things in the games. I have 837 people not all are for games tho some of those are friends and family.

Hi. Airsoft109. I have 48 friends that is on Facebook. I could have more, but I chose not to have that many. I would not just go around accepting any and all friend requests on facebook. I have to make sure that I feel comfortable with them being my friend. I have more friends here at myLot than I do with facebook.

Hi there Airsoft109!!! I don't accept all the friend request that I am receiving in facebook.I f I think the person is not really related to me and if I think he can bring me harm I don't accept their friend request.most of the time the only request that I accept are from those person I know or persons related to me. For me it is not the number of friends that matters in facebook,it is your privacy and how you can prevent someone from invading it.I only have a hundred of friends in facebook and they are my classmates and relative and some co-workers.I don't usually add people that are not related to me.

I think you should just accept people that you know on facebook because accepting people that you don't know will get you privacy breached.

I have about 30. I only add the closest people to me. So I believe I am using it correctly. I think it is starting to turning into something similar to Myspace, but better. I really hope it doesn't though.
