I love food. I am delighted taking in delicious food but enjoy it more when I see my family enjoying it too.

Thats a good way to be, I am not a good cook and I am also the only vegetarian in the family and even with my friends so I don't think my food would go down well with any of them but I wish it would .

Food, Food, food, we spend a lot on food. As the below average family would say, the bread winner only works for their daily sustenance or from-hand-to-mouth as the maxim goes. It is the most important among the three necessities of life.

I totally agree. I'm not a good cook, but when I prepare dishes, they seem edible. LOL! I love watching cooking shows and competitions on TV. I'm inspired to progress on my cooking. I try to experiment on new dishes. And yes, it's a pleasure when you get to see your family enjoy and appreciate the meal that you prepared. When they like it, it's like saying that you succeeded in your cooking attempt.

That's true, eating with the family increases the appetite and you know what? I get sulked when they make unpleasant remarks on my recipe even just them, saying, too salty or the like.
